About Jon Capizzi
​
Jon is an ASE certified technician, and a master transmission-builder. He has experience building everything from Acadias and plow trucks, to Passats and Jaguars. Jon enjoys building transmissions for diesel applications and high-performance vehicles. He has built for dune-runners, drag-racers, stadium trucks, Jeeps, and sand-toys.

Jon built the transmission for the land-speed racecar, the Geezer Express,Veldheer Racing, and Atkins Racing, He has built powerglides, C4s, TH400's, and many others.
​
Jon also specializes in dyno tuning with expertise in Holley EFI, Accel DFI, and customer stand alone computers. He will base-tune to run, fine-tune for performance, or do enhanced tuning for drag-race or sand-toys.
About Mike Capizzi
​
Mike has his ASE Master Certification in all aspects of auto-repair including brakes, tune-ups, and air-conditioning.
​
Previous to Capizzi Automotive, Mike was awarded many honors and recognitions as a Mazda Master Tech and competed in the Mazda Wold Master Tech Competition in Japan, besides being a three-time national champion.
Mike is also a rotary-engine specialist having worked with rotary engines since the R-100. He has experience with the RX-2, RX-3, RX-4, Cosmo, RX-7, and RX-8.
Both Jon and Mike work with classic and muscle cars. They enjoy car shows and drag-racing.
